These are core values that every city representative ought to have. Why? Because they signify the empowerment of others. I’ve served in the US Army in both active duty and reserve components. I co-founded the grassroots organization Justicia Fronteriza PAC. On any given Tuesday, you can find me at City Council advocating for average El Pasoans like you. But what I do in public service and activism is not for myself or my own vanity. It will never be about me.
You are the hero of this story. I fight because you deserve a better El Paso; a city that cares for and looks after its own. We deserve better than a system that empowers the oligarchy at the expense of everyone else. If we organize, we can win our city back. Together, everyone achieves more.
